Holy Week at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica-2021

 

Sunday March 27/28 Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord

5:00 p.m., 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation through the form of General Absolution will be offered following each Mass.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions palms will not be distributed.

 

Seating is by reservation only by phone or online:

Tues. March 23 & Wed. March 24; 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Doors of the church open 30 minutes before each Mass.

The 5:00 p.m. mass will be livestreamed on the Cathedral’s YouTube channel.

 

Monday March 29 Mass of Chrism

11:00 a.m.

Due to the limited seating capacity in the Cathedral, Bishop Fabbro will join with the Vicars General, Episcopal Vicars, and a representation of laity and religious

from our Diocese.

Bishop Fabbro will bless and consecrate the Holy Oils for use in the celebration of the Sacraments throughout the coming year.

 

The Mass will be livestreamed on the Cathedral’s YouTube channel.

 

Wednesday March 31

Mass: 12:05 p.m.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation through the form of General Absolution will be offered following the Mass.

 

No reservation is required. Doors of the church open at 11:30 a.m.

For those attending Mass in person, masks are mandatory at all times inside the church. Exemptions include children under two (2) and those with a medical exemption (a note from your doctor is required in advance).
